In August and September we offer 2 day Salmon/ Steelhead
fishing trips for groups of 4 or more. The days are hot
and the evenings are just right for camping on one of
the many sandy bars down the lower Trinity. We take off
in the morning aboard fully rigged 14 ft. inflatables,
and fish our way down through some of the most pristine
stretches of water the Trinity has to offer. We encounter
occasional class 2-3 white water, (Just enough to cool
us all down). Arriving at camp in late afternoon the
group fishes, while the guides cook up one of the best
riverside BBQ you have ever tasted. We sleep in tents
or sleep under the stars whichever you prefer. We supply
all the food and gear you will need except for your sleeping
bag and fishing license. It is not uncommon to see deer,
bear, coyote’s, eagles, otter, beaver and ospreys
on these trips. After a light breakfast we head out and
fish our way down river to where we have a nice river
side lunch, arriving in the afternoon at our take out.
This trip is full of fun and excitement and is a great
experience for both kids and adults. We can handle groups
from 4-10 people; you must book 30- 60 days in advance
and kids must be 8 years or older.
